Verien Design Group is a hardware design consulting company founded and run by Dave Matthews. Dave has over 25 years of experience designing working products, and as an instructor, has taught dozens of engineers the art of FPGA and ASIC design using Hardware Description Languages.

To complement Dave's digital design skills, he has been joined by Geoff Legg. Geoff brings more than three decades of electrical and electronics design experience. His expertise includes instrumentation, data acquisition, power, motion control, sensors, EMC, safety and regulatory compliance. Our Design Methodology

 At Verien we aim for zero lab debug time and often achieve it. Using a proprietary suite of simulation testbenches, quickly customized for the end application, we perform simulation test at a very high level. This provides a more thorough test and minimizes the total amount of test time. Read more about our techniques here.
